Community Support Project
At Scott Home Comforts, we firmly believe that every home deserves to exude a sense of calm, care, and comfort—regardless of the circumstances. Our Community Clean Giveaway is our heartfelt way of giving back to the local families who contribute so much to our community. Each month, we choose one household in need to receive a completely complimentary professional clean—no hidden fees, no catches, absolutely no strings attached.
These cleaning sessions are a genuine labour of love for us. We don't earn any profit from them—in fact, each one requires both our time and resources—but the fulfilling we gain from helping someone feel a bit lighter, more supported, and at ease is worth every second.
Why We Do It
Life can sometimes feel like a whirlwind. From facing illness and shouldering caregiving duties to dealing with loss and financial struggles, it can become incredibly challenging to juggle everything all at once.
Our team aspired to create an initiative that transcends mere business; we aimed to leverage our expertise to make a genuine difference for those in our community during their most critical times of need.
The Community Clean Giveaway is not focused on achieving perfection; rather, it's rooted in compassion. It's about entering a space burdened with heaviness and leaving it uplifted — providing individuals the opportunity to breathe, relax, and restore.
How It Works
Every 3 Months, we open nominations on our social media pages.
Anyone can enter — for themselves or someone else who could use a helping hand.
Our team carefully reads every story and selects one winner who we feel would most benefit from a free clean.
The winner receives up to 15 hours of cleaning, carried out by our professional team, using our eco-conscious, DEFRA-approved products.
We also share their story (with full consent) to highlight the importance of community support and kindness.
